Isle of Wight

Discounts on journeys from any National Rail station within the Network Railcard area to the Isle of Wight, on Wightlink* or Red Funnel* (ferries or ‘Red Jet’) services to Ryde, Cowes or any National Rail station to Shanklin.

Discounts on journeys from any National Rail station within the Network Railcard area to Ryde Hoverport* only, via Hovertravel services.

*Railcards do not secure discounts on port to port only tickets.

Please Note:

  • Some tickets may have conditions or restrictions that will apply, such as time restrictions for return travel from central London
  • Not every ticket type is available for every journey that you may wish to make
  • Minimum fares apply for all journeys Monday to Friday

Time Restrictions & Minimum Fares

  • Network Railcard is not valid between 04:30 and 09:59 Monday to Friday and no discount will be applied on journeys to start between those times, unless easements apply to your journey. Check the list of easements here
  • Discounted adult fares are subject to a £13.00 minimum fare, Monday to Friday, except Public Holidays. The minimum fare does not apply at weekends
  • Discounted child fares are subject to a £1.00 minimum fare at all times
  • Anytime Day Travelcards are subject to a minimum fare of £18.10 and London Area Zones 1 – 6 Off-Peak Day Travelcards are subject to a £7.90 minimum fare on weekends and public holidays
  • Minimum fares apply to each individual travelling, not to the total value of tickets purchased

You can buy your Railcard at or application forms are available at your local staffed National Rail station in the Network Railcard area
