Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Doncaster / York, closing some lines all weekend.

Grand Central:

Services between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange / Sunderland will run to an amended and reduced timetable. Trains will be diverted to run via Lincoln (not calling), extending journey times by up to 60 minutes.

On Saturday,  the following services will not run:

  • 08:46  Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross 
  • 11:27 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
  • 15:29 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
  • 16:27 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange

 

On Sunday, the following trains will not run:

  • 10:28 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
  • 15:23 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
  • 15:59  Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross
  • 18:53 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange

 

LNER:

Trains will be diverted between Peterborough and Doncaster, extending journey times by up to an hour. These trains will run to an amended and reduced timetable.

Replacement buses will run between Peterborough and Doncaster.

It is not yet known how Hull Trains or Lumo will be affected by this engineering work.
