Description

Engineering work is taking place between Normanton and Castleford all weekend, closing some lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

Leeds and Knottingley via Castleford:

  • Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Knottingley via Castleford.

 

Leeds and Sheffield:

Until 18:00 on Saturday:

  • Services will not stop at Castleford. Rail replacement buses will operate between Leeds and Castleford.

 

After 18:00 on Saturday and all day Sunday:

  • Trains will start / terminate at Wakefield Kirkgate. Rail replacement buses will operate between Leeds and Wakefield Kirkgate.
