Description

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Victoria / Deansgate and Newton-le-Willows, and also between Earlestown and Rainhill, closing various lines all weekend.

Northern:

Saturday:

Buses will replace trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Bank Quay. This route does not operate on Sundays, so no replacement buses will run on Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street.
  • Manchester Victoria and Chester via Warrington Bank Quay.

 

TransPennine Express:

Buses will replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street.

Transport for Wales:

Replacement buses will run between Warrington Bank Quay and Manchester Piccadilly.
