Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly, closing various lines.

As a result:

The 20:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

The 22:34 Manchester Piccadilly to Shrewsbury service will be amended to start from Crewe at 23:14. A replacement bus will run earlier than usual from Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe, connecting with the train. A second bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe, departing Manchester at the same time as the train it replaces.
