Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Winchester, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Saturday. Trains will not call at Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway. Journey times will be extended by 45 minutes. You can use South Western Railway services / replacement buses.

Sunday. Trains will not call at Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton Airport
Parkway. Journey times will be extended by one hour. Rail replacement buses will operate between Reading, Basingstoke and Winchester.

Great Western Railway:

On Sunday, buses will replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke.

South Western Railway:

On Saturday buses will operate between:-

  • Winchester and Southampton Central
  • Winchester and Fareham
  • Romsey and Southampton Central

 

On Sunday buses will operate between:-

  • Romsey and Southampton Central
  • Basingstoke and Southampton Central
  • Basingstoke and Fareham

Trains between Reading and Salisbury will only run between Basingstoke and Salisbury, you should use Great Western Railway buses to complete your journey.
