Description

Engineering work is taking place between Didcot Parkway and Swindon and also between Swindon and Chippenham each evening, closing some lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

  • The 17:50 Penzance to London Paddington (also diverted via Westbury and Bath Spa) will further divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Swindon (via Bristol Parkway - not calling). Road transport from Bath Spa to Chippenham, also from Chippenham to Swindon to connect into the diverted train.
  • The 21:02 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service will arrive / depart Chippenham and beyond later than advertised.
  • The 22:02 London Paddington to Plymouth service will incur additional journey time Swindon and Chippenham.
  • The 22:32 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service divert between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads, not calling at Chippenham and Bath Spa. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Swindon and Chippenham / Bath Spa. These buses will continue to Bristol Temple Meads.
  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert via Newbury (not calling).
