Description

TransPennine Express are operating a reduced, amended timetable due to the ongoing impact of higher than normal sickness levels and industrial relations issues. 

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Alterations to the daily timetable:

Some TransPennine Express services may have ‘on-the-day’ or 'evening before' service amendments and cancellations. Please check Journey Planners as close to your date and time of travel as possible, as changes may be made at the last minute.

West Coast Main Line timetable changes from Monday 12 September:

An amended timetable will be in place from Monday 12 September until further notice for TransPennine Express services between Manchester / Liverpool and Edinburgh / Glasgow via Preston and Carlisle.

The changes are being made to provide a more stable and reliable service. The number of  'on-the-day' or ‘evening before’ cancellations being made on this route are expected to be significantly reduced under this temporary amended timetable.
