Accompanied child flat fare - Great Northern & Thameslink

This ticket is only available for children accompanied by an adult.

Up to four children can travel with one adult.

These tickets are available for journeys at Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak times on most Great Northern and Thameslink train services; except for journeys wholly within London Zones 1-9.

The adult passenger must hold one of the following ticket types:

• Season ticket
• Single or Return tickets
• One Day Travelcards

Adult passengers with GroupSave discounts can also take up to four children with each fare paying adult.

So long as the adult ticket is not routed 'Thameslink Only', these tickets can also be used on Southern train services for journeys on the Brighton Mainline between London Bridge, Gatwick Airport and Brighton.

It is not valid on Gatwick Express services.

Travel is not permitted on other operators services except with the £2 One Day Travelcard where travel is permitted on the same National Rail services within Zones 1-6 as a normal child rate One Day Travelcard
