A new ScotRail membership club called Club 50, for customers aged 50 and over, giving them access to great rail offers plus additional benefits.

20% discount on selected Off-Peak and Advance fares when purchased via the ScotRail website.

10% discount on selected Off-Peak and Advance fares when purchased via other channels.

Occasional additional offers from 3rd party partners as advertised on the ScotRail website.

Details
  • Club 50 membership is available to anyone aged 50 or over.
  • Club 50 members can show their Club 50 registration confirmation email, Club 50 membership confirmation email, temporary Club 50 card or Club 50 Smartcard to purchase discounted tickets at stations or on-train.
  • Club 50 members MUST carry their Club 50 registration confirmation email, Club 50 membership confirmation email, temporary Club 50 card or Club 50 Smartcard with them when travelling to validate their ticket.
  • Club 50 members will also be required to carry proof of age with them when travelling to validate their ticket.  
  • Acceptable forms of ID are - UK or EU Driving License photocard, Passport (any Nationality) and UK Senior Citizen bus pass.
  • The 20% discount is only available when purchased online. Use 'Club 50 Web' from the list of Railcards for the 20% discount.
  • The 10% discount is available at stations or telesales.
  • Conditions of 20% and 10% discounted tickets are as appropriate to the full price ticket purchased.
  • Discount is available to the names Club 50 member only.
  • Available between any two stations in Scotland.
  • Valid for travel on all TOC's.
  • It excludes 'London North Eastern Railway only' and CrossCountry only' fares.
  • Club 50 discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other Railcard or Local Authority Concession Card.
  • Club 50 cannot be used in conjunction with any other rail promotional offers.
  • No further child discounts are available.
  • Upgrades to First Class are not available with Club 50 discounted tickets.
  • Weekend First supplements are not valid in conjunction with Club 50 discounted tickets.
  • Refund conditions as per the full price ticket purchased.
  • Changes to travel plans as per conditions of ticket held.
  • Customers cannot break their journey other than for connectional purposes.

  • Via Telesales on 0344 811 0141.
  • At a staffed station.
  • TVM's.
  • On train, at stations where no ticket issuing facilities exist.
